Training Plans

Not quite ready to sign-up for our personalised coaching but still want to follow a training plan designed by our coaches? You’re welcome to download one of our free training plans to follow in your own time. Please note, however, that our coaches will not be available to monitor your progress or provide you with feedback as you work toward your goal. It’ll be just you and the run plan.

Alternatively, you can purchase one of our goal-specific plans for a once-off fee. These plans include run-specific strength training, goal race pacing plans and engagement with our coaches via email, as required. We are also happy to make minor adjustments to these plans to accommodate your preferred x-training and build-up races.

Free Training Plans Available

A list of the training plans available to athletes without charge are as follows:

  • 27-Week Comrades Finishers Plan (sub 12h00)
  • 19-Week Two Oceans Finishers Plan (sub 7h00)

Training Plans for Once-off Purchase

A list of the training plans available to athletes for a once-off fee are as follows:

  • 18-Week Two Oceans Training Plan (sub 5h00 & sub 6h00)
  • 16-Week Marathon Training Plan (sub 4h00 & sub 5h00)

How It Works

We use an online platform called TrainingPeaks to design, apply and monitor our training plans. This platform syncs with your GPS watch (similar to Strava) to:

  • upload your completed workouts to the diary; and
  • download your structured workouts (speedwork, hill repeats, tempo runs etc) to your GPS watch to give you direction while you run, like a ‘virtual coach’.

In order to access your free or once-off purchase training program, you’ll need to create an account on TrainingPeaks (using just the FREE version) and pair that account with your GPS watch.

Having done that, you’ll need to link up with the A-Team Coaching account HERE.

What To Do Next?

  • Link up with A-Team Coaching HERE.
  • Select your preferred Training Plan by clicking the ‘BUY NOW’ button below.

Your training plan with be uploaded to your TrainingPeaks account within 48 hours of receiving your POP.
