A-Team Coaching offers virtual (app-based) coaching to provide athletes with, and monitor their training. The app pairs with an athletes GPS watch telling the athletes what they need to do for the day while simultaneously telling the coach how the athlete did when completing the session. A link to the app will be shared with new athletes and may be downloaded for free.
The A-Team Coaches offer the following personalised run, strength and endurance coaching:
- Personalised training plans accommodating each athletes work, family and club commitments;
- Run-focused strength and stability training accompanied by explanatory YouTube videos;
- Female-specific training dependent on an athlete’s menstrual cycle (Ann & David only);
- Race specific pacing plans;
- Nutrition and supplement advice;
- Periodic threshold testing and training pace updates (periodically as required);
- Pre-Comrades and Pre-Two Oceans motivational / informational talks; and
- One-on-one engagements in pursuit of each athlete’s individual running goals.
